This is the ordinal Samsung flatscreen I've purchased, so that should be a congratulations for the brand. It is...kinda.
Like the previous flatscreen today relegated to the guest shack , this Samsung has magnificent picture clarity. The good could be better, but for a small shack this is intended for a room , it's fine.
There are whatever issues, though. I started getting this weird bactericide on the INSIDE of the screen, sort of like a dark smear that is somewhat translucent, depending upon the picture playing on the concealment itself. I intellection it was me, but no, my economise started to see it. We fiddled around with different efforts dynamical the picture quality from "dynamic" to "movie" or "standard", all of which meet made the smear more noticeable.
Samsung did beam a fixer out, who took the TV and left us stranded for a few weeks. The TV came back, finally, and the picture looks fine. But today I'm waiting for the smudge to reappear, and I'm glad we took out an long warranty!
Samsungs have been having issues with the screen and the on/off switch you crapper find examples of this every over the Internet. It doesn't sound like beatific news, but I'd say if you get a good Samsung, and not a lemon, you're probably in good shape.
I'd recommend this TV for the represent and the looks of the ordered rattling sleek and modern. But essay to get it on sale, because it's an awful lot of money to pay on a TV that lasts a year, and definitely, DEFINITELY get the long warranty!
If the smear reappears, I'll update.

I'm rattling happy with this TV other than the fact that without HD devices the picture is a lil darker than most. I did country the represent up some after activity with the adjustments for a while. But in all, still rattling bright and a good purchase. Great employ Amazon effort my TV to me quick. Oh and I wanted to thank Fed Ex as well. I wasn't home when they tryed to have the TV and instead of attractive it back to the warehouse, the utility went well out of his artefact to get it back to me at the modify of his route. Kudos to you!

I bought this TV in October of 2008. About a period ago the TV started turning soured and then backwards on after I turned it on. Suddenly it obstructed turning on altogether. After a little research I found this is not uncommon. Samsung knows most the problem but doesn't care since it's just discover of warranty. There is no recall. Big bummer. Do I pay 200- 300 for bushel or just acquire a newborn digit for 400- 500? Stay absent or acquire an long warranty.
