Disc/Media Compatibility
Panasonic's Blu-ray Disc players employ high precision 4:4:4 signal technology, which working in tandem with PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the horizontal direction to compliment vertical direction processing. P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD) is another technology that contributes to the superior picture quality of the Blu-ray players. P4HD processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies the optimal processing to every pixel. Panasonic's Blu-ray Disc players further utilize 16-level motion detection to categorize the image motion of each pixel into one of 16 levels; diagonal processing to detect diagonals and correct the pixels accordingly; 1080p up-conversion to up-convert content recorded in the 480i/p or 720p format to 1080p. This Blu-ray Disc player also provides 1080/24p output, reproducing cinema images from a Blu-ray Disc and DVD in their original 24p form with no need for conversion--enabling you to enjoy cinema images in the same format used in cinema with a 1080/24p-compatible TV.

Kathryn Lochhead Said: This DVD player is NOT compatible with Westinghouse brand TVs. Sep. 6th 2010
This analyse is for the Panasonic DMP BD45 Blu Ray player. Beware that this DVD contestant is NOT compatible with Westinghouse brand TVs which is why I am gift it exclusive digit star. Although the player is reasonably, even attractively, priced, it is delusory to me that a world-renowned electronics concern would sell a creation that is clashing with a certain sort of TV--especially digit as well famous as Westinghouse.
FYI: The error cipher I receive when I endeavor to hook up the contestant to the TV is "U73".
James R. Geyer Said: Blu-Ray DVD Player Sep. 5th 2010
The blu-ray player does not seem as alacritous as the ads would have us believe, but it is alacritous enough. It plays blu-ray disks beautifully. It also plays ordinary DVD disks beautifully. I believe the excellence with ordinary DVDs is due to activity them progressive not interlaced, but I am uncertain. The excellence is sufficient where I hit canceled asking for blu-ray disks from netflix. Ordinary disks are beatific enough.

Linda Said: Panasonic Blu-ray Player Aug. 22nd 2010
I went from a Panasonic DVD contestant which was stunning visual to this Panasonic Blu-ray which sharpened the stunning. The sound is crisp and clear, the represent ranging from slummy calibre to enthusiastic calibre original filming relic that artefact but with a broad calibre appearance. New Blu-ray viewing is stunning. Older beatific calibre movies such as early filmmaker movies that are not Blu-ray are intense with deeper colors and great sound. Movies that I had recorded then transferred to DVD endeavor beautifully, again depending on the original quality.
